It was a dark and scary night thunder and lighting had begun playing a tune outside. Inside the Other Store the webkinz were huddling together listening to a spooky newsletter story told by Bart the webkinz Bat. So, sit back and relax.
He’s beginning his story….

It began in October. All of the Other Store employees were there. Closing time was approaching. Excitement was brewing for the employees but the webkinz were beginning to get scared. They did not like closing time. The store became dark and lonely. It was hard to sleep at night with all the strange noises they would hear. They loved the morning when the store would open and new friends would come to join their family. In fact this month the Giraffe. Pink Cockatoo, Citrus Dragon, and the Webkinz Signature Timber Wolf would soon be here. The minutes were wasting away and the clock was ticking. Pretty soon all the employees would gather there belongings and head home for the night. Whimpers were heard from the rows and rows of webkinz gathered at the Other Store. However, they were excited to know that almost every webkinz ever made had a home at the Other Store. Well, a home for now. To make things even better The Other Store and the official website each picked a webkinz to be there pet of the month. This month the Other Store chose the HIPPO. The website picked the GOLDEN RETRIEVER .The webkinz could now hear the employees doing there close up duties. It was almost time for the noises to begin. Bart the Bat would soon be patroling the store making sure everything was alright and everyone was in there bed for the night. He was good at doing that. In fact he had made it his nightly chore. Last month the Other Store started running a sale of special prices for the webkinz and that sale is still continuing. For webkinz {besides the ones not included in the sale} they are a special price of $9.99. For Lil Kinz they are a special price of $7.00 and webkinz juniors are $15.00. The lights were starting to dimmer the jackets were on. The webkinz could hear the keys locking the doors now. “WAIT!” Other Store employee Courtney shouted out. HAPPY Sweet 16 to Other Store employee Kayla on the 2nd. Happy 18th birthday to Other Store employee Melissa on the 18th. The lights were out the doors were locked the employees were rushing out the door. It was dark. Real dark. Nothing could be seen but things could be heard. The noise seemed to be getting closer. And closer. And closer.
